How long have you been shooting?
I get this a lot, especially working weddings. I received my first digital camera when I was 12 and found what I loved to do then. My first wedding was when I was 16, and my first engagement shoot was not long after that. Technically I have been shooting for 10 years, but I got bit by the wedding bug 6 years ago.
Prices?
Every event/ shoot is different. I have multiple packages for weddings, senior shoots, engagement shoots, etc. Contact me from the menu above to chat more about prices! I would love to hear from you!
Do you travel?
Absolutely! I am based out of Minnesota, but I would love to travel for your wedding, engagement, surprise engagement, etc. You name it, I will try my best to make it work. There is a traveling fee that varies depending on where you would like me to travel to and what I am shooting, but I promise, it will be worth it.
Do you have a second shooter for weddings?
Typically, no. But if you would feel more comfortable with having two shooters, for a fee, you will most certainly have a second! Contact me for more information.
Do you edit your pictures?
To be blunt, yes. I try to be kind with my editing and stay true to the original image as much as possible. If you are asking if I manipulate your photos, the answer is rarely. Unless you request me to do so, I believe you are beautiful/ handsome/ wonderful just the way you are, and I want to emphasize that through photography. Blemishes are the exception and are typically always taken out, because let's be honest, those suckers can be a real drag sometimes.
How far in advance should I book?
Weddings: It is best to contact me/ your potential photographer as soon as you know your date. The sooner the better with that one!
Engagement shoots: A month or two (depending on how long your engagement is) after you get engaged is typically good to take them, but be sure to contact me a few weeks prior so I know I have that date free!
Senior/ family: Senior shoots usually take place in the summer/ fall before senior year. Any time within then works wonderfully. But again, contact me a few weeks before the actual shoot will take place. Family photoshoots are up to you when we take them! But contacting me a few weeks before (I know, you've heard this before) is best.
Is there a phone number I can reach you at?
Some people like e-mail, others like talking on the phone. I totally get it. 651-207-7229.
